Today we were on the bus and off to Positano and Amalfi. At Amalfi I spent a fortune, bought some amazing papers, the best handbag ever, amongst other things. I toured the cathedral and just wandered the quaint streets alone. We then went to Positano - so picturesque with its colourful cliffside houses. The purple flowers everywhere were breathtaking as well. We walked down into the town, and some of the group swam, some shopped, and Natalie and I sipped melon peach vodka slushees on the beach. SO GOOD. The hike back up to the bus was a little less fun, but we were all in great spirits travelling back to the camp for our last night together. Alfie had tried to find us somewhere to go that we could watch the world cup quarter final and we found a little place that had a huge crowd of German supporters in attendance. The rivalry was great fun! Chants, clapping, cheering and booing. It was awesome! Back to the nightclub again and Alfie and I watched in dismay as Italy went down to Germany. Then a lot of vodka was the order of the night. I managed to get some loveheart sunglasses and Alfie some guitar ones and we danced the night away again. Back at the campsite and Alfie and I giggled and linked arms like old friends. I would miss him terribly.
