NT trip Day 7

This day we headed out to explore after our rest afternoon - rejuvenated and keen to see the sights. We started with Florence Falls and again, getting out early beat the crowds and for a time we had the place to ourselves. It was a stunning spot, deep lagoons and shallow creeks to explore. A lovely young woman and her older mother were there swimming and the girl was a swim instructor and offered to take Rory around the lagoon for a swim with her snorkel so that she could see all the fish underwater. So lovely.
We explored the kinda cool, kinda weird termite mounds dotted all about Litchfield too.
Then we went to Buley Rockholes, by then things were far busier and it was hard to find a spot, we eventually did though, and Mum and I just sat and soaked our feet and let the water run over us while the kids played. One more stop at Tolmer Falls before we called it a day.
